Dee Norbury-Director
She/Her
I have been in this industry since 2009. I started as a job developer then became an independent contractor/PSW. Working for myself proved to be a challenge. I knew I needed to expand if I wanted to continue providing quality services. Bridge City Mentors opened in early spring of 2016! Mentoring and advocacy has always been a passion of mine. To have the opportunity to teach others how to mentor and advocate for individuals and to provide the empowering services we do, is a lifelong dream. I am grateful everyday to be doing what I love, with people that I admire and respect. On my off time, I enjoy exploring the outdoors with my two husky dogs. I love photography, gardening, and mixed media art.

She/Her
Hello! My name is Britnie Gwynn (she/her). I have been supporting people with varying disabilities for years. I apply my educational background in psychology. With clients, I enjoy getting to know each one and exploring new places and experiences alongside them. Especially if it involves the outdoors, crafting, and organizing! Outside of work I enjoy reading, gardening, and making delicious food and baked goods.

Christopher Ewing- Mentor/Job Coach
He/Him
Hi, I’m Christopher. I fell in love with the landscape and climate of the PNW after visiting and moved here in 1989. I’m a tiny bit obsessed with mushrooms and foraging for them is one way i connect with the natural world and observe my environment outdoors. Outside of my work with BCM I am active in the local housing reform community. I don’t believe in putting people in boxes but rather celebrate the independent and diverse experiences that mean being human. I’m passionate about supporting people to break barriers and perform my work with a person centered and trauma informed approach. I absolutely love my role at BCM and if you decide you work with me, we will actively seek what living your best life means for you.

He/Him
I am a native of Central California and a recent transplant here in Portland. I moved here with my Husband and two cats, both baby kings of our house. I am a graduate of CSU, Stanislaus with a BA in Psychology, where I nerded out on interpersonal relationships, cognitive processing, and geography. I have been many things in my life: a Chef, 3d Artist, Grocery Store Manager, and Fine Wine Salesperson. Throughout my entire journey it has been the connections to people I have enjoyed the most and made all these experiences worthwhile. When I have free time I am often learning about the earth and all it contains, wine regions, chiseling stones, and attempting to master a baking project. Ultimately, if the sun’s out I am out in it enjoying the world that surrounds us and the people in it.
